Mission

Establish policies to create a competitive economic climate for business growth to compete more vigorously in the global marketplace. Founded in 1995, the 25 member board is appointed by the Governor to three-year terms. State-private partnership engages in strategic planning, marketing and policy development. Committees include five standing Science & Technology, Green Economy & Agriculture, Maryland's Business Base, Federal Related Industries, and International Trade & Global Outreach.
